A&D Movers, founded by Andrew and Denise King is a small family run business which has established itself over the past 20+ years in local household and office moves in and around the Cape Suburbs. All our moves are owner supervised which assures you of our personal and professional service. Our team is dedicated, punctual and reliable. We have a 2.5 tonne enclosed truck with the option of a 4 metre trailer, available for all our moves. We provide blankets and plastic to ensure that your possessions are protected during transit as well as In Transit Insurance that is provided for additional peace of mind.
HOW WE OPERATE
Once you have been in touch with us, we will send you an Enquiry Form to complete and will generate a quotation for you.
We will happily come to your premises and do a walk-through to assess your move if needed. After quote acceptance, a suitable date will be diarised for you and a deposit will lock in your moving date.
All plastic wrap and blankets are supplied free of charge to ensure that your goods are protected during transit. Additional materials, including bubble wrap, corrugated board etc can also be arranged.

- ALL GOODS ARE TIED DOWN AND SECURED DURING TRANSIT TO MINIMISE SHIFTING
- ON ARRIVAL ALL ITEMS ARE RE-ASSEMBLED AND FURNITURE IS PLACED IN SPECIFIED AREAS
Services
MINI MOVES
Single or multiple items moved over a short distance. Based on 1 - 2 hours maximum. Owner supervised. In transit insurance.
Half day move
1 - 2 bedroomed homes/cottages/flats/offices. Moved over a short to medium distance. Owner supervised. In transit insurance.
FULL DAY OR MULTI-DAY MOVES
3 -4 bedroomed homes/double storey. Homes where access is limited. (Excessive stairs, housing estates, inaccessible driveways). Owner supervised. In transit insurance.
